Hi, I'm Dillon, a graphic designer based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, working in the industry since 2020. I studied illustration and fine arts at Kendall College of Art and Design, and that foundation still shapes how I approach every project: less "make it pretty," more "make it make sense."
I currently assist with the creative direction at Nextpoint Studio, alongside an independent freelance practice with a handful of great recurring clients. But what I really love is systems. Not just a logo, but the whole world around it. Give me a new bar to brand, and I'm not just thinking about the mark on the door. I'm thinking about the furniture, the menu design, the lighting, the playlist, the Instagram voice, the full experience, working together. That's where design gets fun for me.
My curiosity spans a lot of directions. Whether it's fashion, fine art, interiors and furniture, hospitality, I like when a project lets more than one of those bleed in.
